- Pray for the 50 or so children that board at the 'Drug Fighters' school in Kibera. That they would know peace and truth from God.

Our team in Ethiopia has shared these three key prayer points for the ministry with the Awi people through agriculture:
Praise God for the Ethiopian Leadership He has raised up to continue to manage the 5Fs project’s operations! Pray for them as they pursue their own vision and mission within the 3 year project agreement they have with the Ethiopian government.
Part of this project’s renewed vision is to go deeper into the Awi countryside in partnership with other believers to raise up local Farmer Promoters (experts) for many of our technical agricultural development initiatives, and who may also be open to receiving and sharing the Gospel within their Awi communities.
For the rural, Awi, landless youth who seem most eager to adapt and change both in business/farming practices and spiritual/relational practices.
We believe in the power of prayer and that it is an essential component that brings the global church together. So when you pray for the Mek'ele Youth Centre, please pray for:
- MYC to develop and implement successful community-based models of sports centers and school sport centres for multiplication over all of Ethiopia.
- For more volunteers from abroad to help with our project and youth activities.
- For the development of programmes for our deaf community to more fully engage in the mainstream youth community and address their unique needs.
Thank you for your interest in Hidden Abilities. We value and believe in the power of prayer.
So, if you pray, please pray...
- That God would raise up a missionary physical therapist who has a heart for children with special needs who can also be the project manager for Hidden Abilities.
- That Hidden Abilities will be a place where children experience quality treatment, love and respect and will learn about Jesus’ love for them
- That parents will be patient as the children overcome their physical challenges so that they develop to their full potential
Pray for SIM’s administrative personnel - people like Veronica who are often making big sacrifices in order to ensure the work of bringing good news to people who haven’t heard can go on.
It’s often really hard for people providing essential infrastructure services (like accounting and personnel management) to raise sufficient funds. Pray that donors will understand the necessity for these roles and give enthusiastically.
Pray for new admin personnel to join the work of SIM. In many regions one or two personnel are managing the needs of hundreds of cross-cultural workers. They need more help!
Pray that cross-cultural workers moving to Asia will be well prepared for the kind of "fish bowl" challenges that Gage and her family have faced.
Pray that gospel work can continue even in the midst of frustration, isolation and loneliness.
Pray for people in Asia who have never been introduced to Jesus to meet him for the first time.
People will come to take the water that gives eternal life.
The water project staff would be lights in communities where he’s least known
The Lord would provide the many needs of the water project to maintain its ministry in South Sudan.
Pray that people coming through the doors would encounter Christ the healer
Pray that the Gospel would shine from the clinic and chaplaincy staff
Pray for churches to be planted and strengthened through this ministry
Pray for those who’ve started missional businesses, as well as their employees!
Pray that our ministry may encourage the teachers in reaching the many young minds eager to learn.
Pray that there would be an increase in the number of girls seeking to attend school.
Pray for more churches to be involved and want to start their own schools.
Pray for those in the transgender community to find wholeness and healing from past trauma.
Pray for churches to know how to best welcome and be community to transgenders who want to follow Jesus.
Pray for Shalom's doctors and community health staff to have wisdom, grace, and unlimited emotional energy as they treat and counsel those from the transgender community.
Pray for the families coping with disability every day and their new support network.
Pray for Sports Friends Kenya as it partners with the local church to reach out to the ostracised families.
Pray for the team as it identifies a new area from which to connect with new families.
Pray that the local Kenyan church would embrace the vision for sports ministry, and that many more coaches would be trained to reach out to youth, their families, and communities with the gospel.

Pray for the team in Nairobi to be able to comfort those carrying trauma and for the strength and protection (peace) to do so.
Pray for those with unfinished healing and that they may receive counselling and put their troubles at the foot of the cross.
Pray for the funding needs to be met in order to provide trauma healing courses for the thousands of French speaking refugees in Nairobi that need healing.
Pray for the ongoing translation of course materials into French and Kiswahili.
Pray for daily strength for Mary and the many other Christian healthcare heros serving in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
Pray for the SIM Banda Health team in Nairobi as they continually upgrade and deploy Banda Go together with the clinics.
Pray that God would provide the funding (USD$1 million) being sought to enable the team to support the first 500 clinics.

Pray for partnerships like that between Jagdish and Sunil to be marked by mutual encouragement, discipleship, and understanding.
Pray for pastors and their families who work to support themselves while simultaneously pastoring their churches.
Please pray for family members who care for someone who is dying. Ask God to give them compassion, wisdom, and an absence of fear.
Pray for the families who are facing the death of a loved one to hear the good news of Jesus and find hope in him as Savior!
Pray for Chetna staff as they comfort family members, speak with those who are dying, and educate their communities. Ask God to use their efforts to minimise the fear, guilt, rejection and isolation that flourish with ignorance.
Pray that more young men like Pbeemai (read his story here) will be introduced to Jesus and see the value of sport as a tool for serving him.
Pray for Sports Friends trainers who are mentoring the mentors of thousands of youth all over South East Asia, Africa and South America.
Pray for wisdom beyond their years and an openness to the Holy Spirit for all the women and men serving with Sports Friends.
